I’ll list their influences on their myspace page and you can be the judge if they are worth checking out…” Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Leatherface, Samiam, Fugazi, Husker Du, Small Brown Bike, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Alkaline Trio, Lawrence Arms, Strike Anywhere, Against Me!, Rites of Spring, Embrace, Jawbox.” I’m sure you can tell why i think they are bad ass. Their only downfall is that they are from Boston (J/K LOL)

Polar Bear Club
This band hailing from all over the northeast makes some of the most badass music going now. Small Brown Bike meets Braid meets Silent Majority. Can’t wait for the new record. Hit up their myspace to peep some tracks.

Bridge and Tunnel

This band is awesome. Coming out of the ashes of a few long island bands such as Latterman and Regarding I, both of which i was really into. Their style sounds like they would be from the Midwest in the mid 90’s. AWESOME. I just picked up their 7″ and its amazing. Check out their tuneage on myspace.
