Our friends over at Can You See The Sunset have posted “Buckets Full Of Emo” which is even better than his “Spoonful Of Emo” posts. Check out Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. There are such amazing songs in everyone of these posts so please check them out and show some love.
and p.s Taking Back Sunday is awesome. FUCK THE HATERS.
Yup. Super excited to see them for the first time at the hottest (not in the good way) smelliest venue ever. No I am not hating I have seen some amazing shows there I’m just calling it as I see it. Either way the show is going to be awesome. Who’s coming with me? I’m sure admission is prob like 6 bucks which is even better. Ohh and its right off my subway line. More shows I like should be had at ABC No Rio and Bowery Ball Room. Or Market Hotel that’s even closer.
Wow wordpress’ mobile blogging interface is better than I remember. So I am heading upstate to the wonderful beautiful Orange County NY to go see my family for the day, so I figured I’d kill time by writing. As long as boring as this train ride maybe its so nice going along the river when its such a sick day out. Anyways let’s do an abrivated verison the shuffle thing I did a week or so ago.
Let’s start with the song that’s on currently:
Justin Timberlake- Damn Girl
Umm people may give me shit for this but fuck it the album is fresh as hell
Dillinger 4 - Music Is None Of My Business
D4 is such a great band they make me want to party and have a good time. Awesome live as well
Dear and The Headlights- I Just Do
This band is highly underrated. I got this album awhile back to do a review for a site. Check them out cool music.
No Use For A Name- Why dosen’t Anybody Like Me?
Wow this album is amazing. People wrote this album off so quickly. This song is by far my fav NUFAN song. Also reminds me of Load TV anyone remeber that shit? 56K modems taking 2 days to download a video
Nofx - Drug Free America
Not one of my favs but its Nofx so it can’t be all that teriible
Hoover- Dries
Another band that dosen’t get enough love (well at least I feel so). This song is smooth as hell.
Cursive- The Recluse
Great song. Cursive is so good. Tim kashers voice is so dope, I wish I could sing like that dude. This is prob the second best track on The Ugly Organ
Paramore- Hallelujah
This band know how’s to fucking write hits. Every song on Riot is a single. This one happens to be their UK single. So fucking catchy.
Four Year Strong - Heroes Get Remebered, Ledgens Never Die
Another great young band. They have nailed the “Happy Hardcore” sound. This band is like a fucking tackle shop, so many hooks. But for you heavy guitar work and double bass they got that too.
Bad Brains- How Low Can A Punk Get
Its the fucking Bad Brains. They can do no wrong.
Well that took up a nice chunk of my train ride. If there are spelling errors I’m sorry. I wish this blackberry had a camera so I could post pics of the view from the train its so nice, just passed the Tappen Zee bridge a hot min ago so I’m somewhat close.
Enjoy this day its nice out (well at least in NY, so if you have bad weather such for you!)
No not Rodney James but my roommates dog Dio…Isn’t she cute
Obviously mostly this post is an excuse to post this song:
Dio- Holy Diver

So when I was taking the subway home today i was listening to pop punk…why? because its 70 degrees and sunny in NYC today. So I decided to try out this new MuxTape thing. Its pretty decent, I am having problems uploading the last few songs I wanted to include bummer. Anyway here are a few Pop Punk(ish) songs for your hopefully sunny day. I know there could be a list a mile long but I went with these for today. Shit its going to be so nice out the rest of the week maybe I’ll do a new one every day? Who knows. Enjoy the tunes

We have tons of records and CDs left over from years ago when we were still a band. I’ve moved them several times over the years, and I’m hoping to never have to do that again. I’d give them away, but we still have debt that is going to take us years to pay off (still).
Here’s what we have:
Quietus CD or LP (green vinyl only) $6 ppd US
Well Versed in Deception CD or LP (orange or black vinyl.
They’re sealed, though, so I’m not really sure which ones are which) $6 ppd US
Split LP w/ Life Detecting Coffins $5 ppd US
Split 7-inch with the Assistant $3 ppd US
I also have the Lack ‘Sisyphus’ 7-inch for $3 ppd US or $1 if you order something else and ask for it.
All 3 LPs = $15 ppd
Both CDs = $10 ppd
Everything (choose CD *or* LP on Quietus and WVID) = $20 ppd
We also have a few copies of The Assistant “We’ll Make the Roads By Walking” LP on blue vinyl (European pressing) $6 ppd.
Also, we have copies of the Arquebus Vs. Archer 7″, but no covers for them. We’re thinking about making a special edition of them, since we have about 100 of them still, but for now, we’ll just give you one if you order something else and ask for it.
If you want to order anything, you can pay via PayPal to mark.sheppard@gmail.com

I HIGHLY suggest picking these up. If you want to buy just one pick up the split with Life Detecting Coffins, both sides are amazing. But buy them all for $20 its super cheap.

Head over to The Punk Guy to check out his Sunday B-Side “This LIfe Cumalitive” by the wonderful Joan Of Arc. This will hold you over till i decide to write today. Enjoy
I thought these were a good idea at one point (sorry if I’m abusing photobooth)
So i checked out the new songs and i actually dig them. Check out “Nothing To Prove” and “1995″ here
