This is very exciting. I love All Out War, a) Because they are so fucking heavy, and b) They are from Upstate NY. So do it up nice and pick up this 7″ you can get all 3 colors for only $12 (for all you collectors). I copped the Coke Bottle Clear one, STOKED.
From Press Release:
This is the long awaited repress of the out of print 7″ originally released on S.U.R. Records. These 2 songs from NY’s All Out War were originally intended for an Astor Records NYHC compilation that never saw the light of day. All Out War is a punishing display of the aggression of hardcore crossed with the brutality of metal while avoiding the shortcomings of both genres. To get a taste of All Out War’s musical style, envision Carcass colliding head on with “Age of Quarrel” era Cro- Mags. Two styles as different as they come but All Out War combines the two to form an attack unmatched by today’s standards. AVAILABLE ON 3 DIFFERENT CHOICES OF COLORED VINYL.

www. jumpstartrecords. com/Merchant2/merchant. mvc
first pressing of 300 is on limited edition red vinyl and comes with hand printed sleeves and inserts, as well as a digital download coupon that includes two songs that aren’t available on the vinyl.
This band is fucking great. Order this record now. Check out my review for their full length “Quo Vadimus” here.
So this is going to be my new multi part series. There is soooo much crap out there in the world of music. so here is my first installment.
Who Should Stop Making Music: Jeffree Star

You are a fucking hack. you play half rate (at best) shitty talentless electronic garbage. I don’t quite get how being a “Myspace celebrity” gives you the sense of entitlement to think you are a real musician. Do the world a favor, and blow some coke laced with ajax.
Band Who Should Start Again: Quicksand

The things I would do to be in a packed venue when you bust into Fazer and the fucking room explodes. Skip the whole Rival Schools thing and just give me Manic and Slip front to back and I will be a happy happy man.
Just listen to this song and Imagine them opening a show with it and everyone going apeshit.
Quicksand - Fazer
FUCKKKKK YEA.
Tickets go on sale saturday.
So excited.
The Bouncing Souls- True Belivers (From the most underrated record they put out)

Even though you were kind of a bum and a douche bag I still loved you. Now I need to drop another $90 on a new jersey for next season. I think I’m going Brandon Jacobs on this one.
I’m sure you will like NOLA better anyway.

Hey People
Been very busy at work recently which is a good thing for the most part. I really need to get a few reviews posted, I promise they are coming!
This weekend I went back home (Upstate NY) to go see my friends in Thieves and Villains cd release show, and I must say I was blown away. So tight and they also put on a great show. BUY THEIR RECORD.
so in honor of my trip upstate I dug up this video from you tube:

For everyone that missed them the first time around Polyvinyl is repressing some sweet records. Braid - Frame And Canvas, Mates Of State - My Solo Project, and Rainer Maria - Look Now Look Again. All of these will be out on 9/9/08 and are on 180 gram vinyl. And just like every other Polyvinyl release, it comes with a free digital download of the record. But if you don’t already have Frame and Canvas in another format I don’t think we can be friends.

This show is going to rule. It’s tonight @ 8PM tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. This show WILL sell out so i would suggest pickign up tickets ASAP. Opening the show is Leah Siegel. I will be there drinking beers and having a good time.
As Tall As Lions - Stab City live at the Highline Ballroom
