See? I told you that you’d like ‘em.

I’m a ridiculous Cave In fan and I just wanted to give you the thumbs-up on, first of all, the Cave In recognition and secondly the solid selection of music you’re puttin’ up. I’ve got a couple musical suggestions for you:

No Knife’s a great band. They’re lodged somewhere between the semi-spazzy unpredictablility of These Arms Are Snakes (great band) and the space and the different textures Glassjaw and Pinback can present (oddly enough, after No Knife disbanded the drummer joined Pinback). I’d recommend songs called “Riot for Romance” and “Lex Hit Reset.”

I’d also suggest Minus the Bear for their creativity and almost indescribable “indie” sound. You could go and add adjectives like laid-back, mathy, groove-oriented, technically proficient, electronic, and musically intelligent to get a mishmash of words describing a whole bunch of nothing. If you want a good start to the band, check out songs called “Dr. L’Ling” and “Pachuca Sunrise.” Those songs seem to be good starting points. The bands catalog seems to extend in about every direction from those songs so they give you an idea of the middle of the MtB road.

Anyway, gettin’ back to the original point of the post: your blog’s pretty cool and I’m glad you’re here to bring Cave In to your readers.
